America has a new leader. The new U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Gregg Berhalter, with a clear voice and a strong conviction, describes what he believes is the right vision for American soccer.
The former U.S. international defender is charting a new course as we approach the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup and look to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
“We want to instill a style of play and give the players confidence and we want to set the standard of what the national team program should represent,” said Berhalter.
Berhalter believes that our National team player pool is filled with diversity and that the job of the national team is to make progress.
