FC Helsingør hires Omid Namazi as Interim Head Coach
Jordan Gardner, Chairman & Co-Owner of FC Helsingør announced today that the club will replace current Manager Peter Fehr, with American Omid Namazi on an interim basis.
Namazi is currently the Head of Scouting for FCH and will transition to the Head Coach role effective immediately.
Namazi has an impressive pedigree, having most recently been Head Coach for Iranian powerhouse Zob Than SC.

Previously, Namazi spent extensive time at U.S. Soccer as Head Coach for the U18 Men’s National Team Coach, Assistant Coach for the U20 Men’s National Team, and Assistant Coach for the U.S. Women’s Senior National Team.
Namazi won the 2017 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship as Assistant Coach of the U.S. Team alongside Tab Ramos and Brad Friedel.
Prior to his time at U.S. Soccer, Namazi spent four years as Assistant Coach for the Iranian Men’s National Team under Head Coach Carlos Quieroz, helping Iran qualify for the 2014 World Cup.
FC Helsingør is a professional football club currently making looking to make an impact in the American soccer market and create a pathway for players to train and become professionals.
