L.A. Wolves Top Ozzy’s Laguna FC at Toyota Sports Park

Wolves FC are continuing its march to the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) playoffs as they recorded its 15th straight win on Sunday. The Wolves have four remaining regular-season matches as they sit 12-0-0 in the Western Conference.
UPSL Soccer News: L.A. Wolves FC cruised past Ozzy’s Laguna FC, 4-1, on Sunday in a UPSL Western Conference matchup at Toyota Sports Park. Four goalscorers for L.A. Wolves FC gave the club its 15th consecutive victory across all competitions.
“The boys had a good night. The first 20 minutes was a little bit rough but as the game went on we got into our form and started to connect,” said Michael Collins, L.A. Wolves FC head coach. This was a good game for us in preparation for the playoffs, which are around the corner and are what we need to keep our focus on.”
L.A. Wolves FC outscored Laguna 9-1 in two matches during the UPSL’s 2016 Fall Season, Ozzy’s Laguna first season in the Western Conference.
L.A. clinched the top spot of the Western Conference and a first-round playoff bye several weeks ago. They now have four more regular-season games before the second round of the playoffs.
The Wolves moved to 12-0-0 in the Western Conference, and also advanced to the third round of qualifying for the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in previous weeks.
