Zlatan Claims That If He Leaves MLS No One Will Remember The League
After six meetings in two years, LAFC finally defeats the LA Galaxy when it counts. Beating the Galaxy 5-3, LAFC books their ticket to the Western Conference Final.
The Western Conference Final between LAFC and the LA Galaxy is exactly what it was hyped up to be. Carlos Vela opened up the scoring with two goals in the first half. The first half ended 2-1, with the Galaxy scoring in the 41st minute with a goal by Carlos Pavon after Zlatan Ibrahimovic won the ball.
LAFC wasn’t going to let history repeat itself as Diego Rossi and Adama Diomande scored a pair of goals within two-minutes to take back the lead. Rolf Feltscher was able to get to the end of a Romain Alessandrini freekick. Just three minutes later, Diomande scored his second goal of the game to ensure LAFC’s win.
After the game, Zlatan had a lot to say about the game.
When asked about his future with the Galaxy, his reponse was
“We’ll see what happens… (If I stay), then MLS is good, becuase the whole world will be watch it. If I don’t stay, nobody will remember what MLS is.”
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Of course, he didn’t end there, Zlatan claims he is the reason that LAFC and Vela are famous.
What do you think? Will the world forget about MLS if Zlatan leaves? Did he make LAFC and Vela famous?
