Generation Adidas International & Las Vegas Mayor’s Cup Showcase
The annual Las Vegas Mayor’s Cup is scheduled for February as the showcase event welcomes top players from across the country for a weekend of soccer action in front of college recruits. In partnership with generation adidas international, the champion of the U16 boys division travel to train with Real Madrid Academy coaches at their training facility, Valdabebas.
Youth Soccer News: The Las Vegas Mayor’s Cup International Showcase is scheduled for February 18-20, 2017, hosted by the City of Las Vegas and Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club.
The showcase tournament will provide youth players with an opportunity to impress their university schools of interest in front of scouts from across the country.
Tournament Details:
- Age Groups: Boys & Girls, U11 to U19.
- The entry fee is only $1195. Entry deadline for local teams will be December 4, 2016. Entry deadline for teams traveling from out of town will be December 31, 2016.
- All teams are guaranteed a minimum of four games.
- Held over the President’s Day weekend.
Traveling Teams Inc. has negotiated special discounted rates for all visiting teams for hotels at most price points.
In partnership with generation adidas, the champion of the U16 Boys Generation division of the tournament will be awarded a trip to legendary Real Madrid C.F. The program is executed and provided by generation adidas international and will include training under the Real Madrid Academy coaches at their state of the art facility, Valdabebas.
As part of the expanded generation adidas grassroots campaign, generation adidas international emphasizes adidas’ role as the premier provider of elite developmental opportunities to U.S. clubs.
Generation adidas Las Vegas Mayor’s Cup provides the U16 age group with an opportunity to capitalize on the tournament’s partnership with generation adidas platform in order to showcase their skills on the international level. Registration for the tournament is available here.
