This comes after last summer’s successful pre-season tour of the US where the team visited Houston, Los Angeles, and Nashville.
To announce the upcoming tour, City defender Benjamin Mendy visited New York City to surprise local fans and deliver the exciting news in person.
Speaking at a fan event of the top of the Rockefeller Center, Mendy said, “It’s been amazing to come to New York City to announce the tour and give some local fans a real surprise! The soccer fans in the United States are so passionate about the game and it’s always a pleasure to visit here.”
“When I go back to Manchester and tell the players about my trip,” said the French international, “I know they will be really excited to come here in the summer. We can’t wait to play in front of our US fans again.”
