Technology Helping Soccer Organizations
Soccer News: Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association Selects Affinity Sports as Official Technology Partner – Affinity has over 1.2 million players in their system!
Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) has selected Affinity Sports as MYSA’s official technology partner. MYSA will take advantage of Affinity’s cloud based state association services to handle all their player records as well as risk management, state cup and other youth soccer activities.
“Our evaluation process over the past several years included all of the largest current US Youth Soccer vendors. Following this review, it became very clear that, not only is Affinity the fastest growing state association vendor, Affinity is the only vendor with the proven technology and service levels that will allow MYSA to increase our service offerings and support for our member organizations, volunteers, parents and players. By partnering with Affinity we can focus on servicing our membership and improving quality of play for our youth players,” said Ted Ritchie, President of MYSA.
Kicked off in 1977, Mass Youth Soccer has become the second largest state youth soccer association in the United States with more than 185,000 registered players, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Board of Directors, an energetic support staff and over 25,000 adult volunteers.
“MYSA has earned its trusted reputation as one of the leading US Youth Soccer state soccer associations. We are excited to work with MYSA to deliver a trusted technology platform and integrated services which will allow them to increase its member services and engagement. By adding Cal North and MYSA over the past year, we have now partnered with the several of the largest state soccer associations in the country. By the end of 2015, we expect over 50% of all USYS registered players to be integrated into our ShareView™ platform”, said Mark Skeen, CEO of Affinity Sports.
By adding MYSA, Affinity will now have over 1,200,000 players and 250,000 administrators using our ShareView™ platform through our 14 US Youth State soccer associations. Cal South, Cal North, Massachusetts, Georgia, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio South, Ohio North, PA West, Alabama and Hawaii and 4 USASA adult soccer associations all have partnered with Affinity. In 2014, Affinity processed over $50,000,000 of player transactions and anticipates providing over $100,000,000 of player registration transactions in 2015. Affinity was started in 2002 to provide state association software solutions to Cal South, and the company is headquartered in San Diego, CA.
