Toronto FC & Seattle Sounders Utilize Match Analysis
Statistical data analysis is an important development factor that is essential to a team’s progression throughout the season. Two of the company’s devoted clients will compete in the MLS Cup Final held Saturday, December 10th as the chase for glory comes down to one last match.
Soccer News: With the stage set for the 2016 MLS Cup Final, Match Analysis will see two long-standing clients – Toronto FC and the Seattle Sounders – compete for the top prize in American soccer.
Match Analysis has provided services for Toronto since 2013. In addition to reaching this championship match, they also were crowned the 2016 Canadian Champions. The Sounders partnered with Match Analysis in 2009, during which time they have won the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on four occasions and the 2014 MLS Supporters’ Shield.
With all four 2016 Conference Finalists using Match Analysis for their video and statistical analysis, the trend for the California-based company’s services is unmatched.
Over the past 15 years, 13 MLS Cups will have been won by Match Analysis clients. The same ratio has also been encountered by title winners of the U.S. Open Cup and the MLS Supporters’ Shield.
