Geo-Targeted Streams On League Website Will Allow Fans To Watch From Canada
Soccer News: Starting this weekend, North American Soccer League (NASL) fans across Canada will be able to watch matches on NASL.com.
Matches featuring U.S.-based NASL teams will be available in Canada on NASL.com, while FC Edmonton and Ottawa Fury FC away matches will be shown on the clubs’ respective websites, FCEdmonton.com and OttawaFuryFC.com.
The streams of away matches involving the league’s pair of Canadian clubs will replace those that were scheduled to run on TSN GO, where matches will no longer be available this year. Additionally, all of the matches that will be available on NASL websites will be geo-targeted to Canada because U.S. viewers already have access to them through ESPN3.
This Saturday, three matches will be available on NASL.com in Canada: New York Cosmos at Indy Eleven (7:30 ET), Fort Lauderdale Strikers at Tampa Bay Rowdies (7:30 ET), and Minnesota United FC at San Antonio Scorpions (8:30 ET). Both FC Edmonton and Ottawa Fury FC have home matches on Sunday that will be available on local television to Canadian viewers and ESPN3 to American viewers.
For direct links to each broadcast, visit NASL.com on match day or follow the NASL on Twitter at @NASLOfficial.
