New International Youth Soccer Tournament To Showcase Top Talent with “World’s Best Invited”
Traveling overseas for a youth soccer tournament creates lifelong memories and deepens a players passion of the beautiful game. Competing against teams from all around the world enriches a players understanding of the world and provides amazing exposure to international scouts.
This week, ALBION has announced an exciting venture into Spain with “Worlds Best Invited” Elite Boys and Girls tournament, the ALBION CUP Spain. The new international youth soccer tournament will bring together the world’s top 60 teams for U16, U17, and U19, Boys and Girls from around the globe.

Held in San Sebastián, a resort town on the Bay of Biscay in Spain’s beautiful Basque Country, the ALBION CUP Spain will offer the highest level competition on the field and a fabulous immersion into a true soccer loving environment complete with world-renowned restaurants and gorgeous beaches.
The teams competing in the ALBION CUP Spain will be housed at a variety of top hotels in the area and region.
Interview with Noah Gins, CEO and Executive Director of ALBION
Diane Scavuzzo: What is the goal behind the new tournament?
Noah Gins: The goal is to build out a world class event bringing top teams around the world to Spain to compete and showcase their players’ talents. ALBION is highly respected for their organizational management of tournaments and showcases in the USA and the time is right to expand our expertise internationally.
Diane Scavuzzo: How do you expect the American teams to do in an international competition?
Noah Gins: The American teams will show well. For the professional scouts, this brings the American players to their soil and allows them to watch and identify players in high level atmosphere.
Today many players are interested to get overseas for trials and now, the entire team will be scouted.
Diane Scavuzzo: Who will be invited to play?
Noah Gins: The best clubs and teams in the world from all parts of the globe will be invited. Teams will be able to apply and we will want to open up the idea of all teams to apply. We will in the end take the best teams that will benefit from this opportunity.

Diane Scavuzzo: What is the format of the youth soccer event in Spain?
Noah Gins: The teams will play min of 4 games and up to 6 matches inside the tournament. And the games will be full length games. Yes Full length games. In addition, the teams will gain access to La Liga games, pro team training sessions, sightseeing, and more. This will honestly be the most incredible experience for the players and teams part of this.
Diane Scavuzzo: How many Albion teams will be participating?
Noah Gins: ALBION will be sending National Elite teams. The best of the best of ALBION for sure, as well as any teams that are at a very high level that qualify or are good enough to get accepted.
Diane Scavuzzo: What inspired you to kick off a tournament in Spain?
Noah Gins: This was a perfect intersection for innovation and opportunity to create what will be a world class and world’s best event … and, expand globally.
Diane Scavuzzo: What is the value of international travel for a soccer player/team?
Noah Gins: This will be built for players fully — to compete, to gain exposure, to have immersion into the Spanish culture and to really see the value of an international experience.

Noah Gins: Parents are welcome to come to the ALBION CUP Spain, cheer for their players and enjoy the beautiful area. It is always great when parents and families can support a players love of the game.
