Make the Game of Soccer Better For All Youth Soccer Players
Forward thinking and always open to new ideas, New Jersey Youth Soccer has consistently led the way to colloboate with other US Youth Soccer State Associations to better the game, and improve opportunities for youth soccer players, regardless of state borders.
New Jersey Youth Soccer is excited to announce a collaboration with Indiana Soccer, Ohio Soccer Association and Tennessee State Soccer Association, who have all committed to be represented by Sports Sponsorship and Events Consulting, LLC (SSEC). SSEC will lead sponsorship and sports marketing strategies on behalf of the state organizations.
SSEC is a leader in grassroots sports marketing and represents several national and regional sports properties. SSEC will be tasked with developing new activation vehicles, strategies for each of the state organization’s corporate partners, and custom sponsorship and marketing programs. SSEC has successfully created and sold youth focused sports events and marketing programs to numerous Fortune 500 brands.
“We, as a group of state associations, see a massive opportunity to align assets that allows us to leverage our scale and reach,” said Evan Dabby, New Jersey Youth Soccer Executive Director. “We credit SSEC for buying into this vision and committing their expertise and resources to grow our roster of commercial partners. We are confident this initiative will result in unique growth opportunities that benefit our membership through enhanced value and programming.”
By collaborating with like-minded state associations, the participating associations believe they can capture new, non-fee-based revenues that will minimize the state associations’ need to increase membership fees while still expanding and improving upon existing member benefits.
The partnership is an extension of SSEC’s core focus on solution-based selling. The collaboration between the four youth soccer state associations will incorporate assets from the respective organizations and provide brands with the potential for larger market reach, diverse audiences and streamlined sponsorship and marketing opportunities.
This partnership has also integrated The Global Sports Business MS program at Rutgers University, who will be working closely with NJ Youth Soccer and the other state associations to assist in researching and organizing each participating members’ assets, while also brainstorming strategies for further collaboration and long-term alignment.
