New Jersey continues to be a one of the largest state youth soccer participation groups in the northeast. The State Cups now provide three levels of competition: At the elite level, the NJYS National Championship Series (NCS); for competitive travel programs, the NJYS Presidents Cup; and the NJYS Commissioners Cup presented by SI Play that fit best into this third tier of state competition. Winners in the NCS and Presidents Cup will represent New Jersey in the next level of competition against other state champions in US Youth Soccer Region I, and if successful there, the US Youth Soccer National Competition.
