Pelé, Beckenbauer And Messing Reunite For Season Home Opener On One World Sports
Shep Messing, Joined by JP Dellacamera, to Interview Former Teammates During Special Pre-Game Show, to be Carried by ONE World Sports.
ONE World Sports, America’s Network for Global Sports, and the broadcast home of the New York Cosmos, announced today that JP Dellacamera and former Cosmos goalkeeper and current ONE World Sports commentator Shep Messing will interview Messing’s Cosmos teammates Pelé and Franz Beckenbauer during a pre-game show Saturday, April 18, at 6:30 p.m. Eastern. The event marks a rare on-screen reunion of the three Cosmos legends.
The Cosmos’ season home opener against the Tampa Bay Rowdies at Hofstra University’s Shuart Stadium kicks off at 7pm. Messing and Dellacamera will call the game for ONE World Sports alongside former Red Bulls coach Mike Petke, joining the Cosmos broadcast booth for the first time.
