Coming to San Diego and Other Cities Around the USA
Neymar Jr. of FC Barcelona and Brazil has partnered with Red Bull to host a 5-v-5 tournament across the globe. The tournament is making a stop in San Diego next month as teams battle it out for a chance to play in the U.S. Nationals event held in Miami. The World Final will take place in Brazil. Neymar Jr’s Five is for football players from more than 35 countries — a great, global five-a-side tournament.
There’s one special rule – each time a team scores, the opposition loses a player. All within 10 minutes time. Can you outplay them all and pave your way to the world final in Brazil?

Soccer News: Neymar Jr’s Five Tournament is returning to San Diego as another year of short-side competition returns to America’s Finest City.
A total of 48 teams will participate in the event for ages 16-25 — a team can consist of two players over the age limit. Teams must have a total of 5-7 players with no gender limitation restricted to the event.
The top two teams of the day will qualify for the U.S. Nationals event held in Miami. Winners will earn a chance to show off their skills at the World Final held in Brazil.
Teams of five will take the pitch in San Diego with matches lasting for a total of ten minutes or how long it takes for each player on a team to be eliminated. Each time a team scores a goal the opposing team will lose a player. The team consisting of the most players at the end of time will be declared the winner.

Date: Saturday, May 13th.
Time: 7:30 a.m. registration. Games start at 8:00 a.m.
Where: Chula Vista Elite Athletic Training Center.
Winner’s: Final two teams qualify for U.S. Nationals in Miami.
