New Jersey Youth Soccer is pleased to offer scholarship opportunities for New Jersey students to assist in the cost of higher education.
All college-bound seniors who have played in the NJ Youth Soccer system are encouraged to apply for one or more of the three annual scholarships that are available.
New Jersey Youth Soccer Scholarship Program For Youth Players
“We are proud to continue our support helping families subsidize the cost of college education through this scholarship program,” said Jess Yeager, NJ Youth Soccer President. “These three scholarships are available to member players, and we encourage college-bound seniors within the NJ Youth Soccer system to submit an application.”
To be considered for a scholarship, candidates must complete an application and send it to the NJ Youth Soccer Office by December 18, 2020. Along with the application and a high school transcript, an essay (no more than two typed pages) must be written by each candidate to explain why he or she should receive the scholarship.
Please note: Students may apply for more than one of the scholarships that are available, but they cannot be awarded more than one scholarship.
Scholarship winners will be notified by NJ Youth Soccer by January 4, 2021. Winners will receive an award and also have the opportunity to be recognized via a press release and online interview promoted by NJ Youth Soccer.
