NPSL Welcomes Ozark Futbol Club as Latest Expansion Club
Ozark Futbol Club is set to join the NPSL as the growing league adds its second Arkansas club for the 2017 campaign. Located in the Northwest region of the state, the ownership hopes to bring a club to the community that will unite all its residences.
NPSL Soccer News: The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) has announced Ozark Futbol Club (Springdale, AR) as its latest expansion club set to compete in the South Region.
“It’s exciting to see our league continue to grow and expand,” NPSL Chairman Joe Barone commented. “Ozark FC will certainly help grow our league’s footprint in Arkansas. Our fans and supporters in the region should be thrilled by this addition.”
Ozark FC is led by Co-Owner Will Broyles and Director Dacia Boehmler. Boehmler has a history of success in marketing and retail development in Northwest Arkansas. She has a passion for bringing more sports to the community, particularly soccer that really resonates with so many people.
“We anticipate fielding a strong team with a lot of area talent in one of the strongest conferences in our league,” Broyles added. “Our club will operate with the goal of making NW Arkansas a soccer powerhouse by building on the excellent development clubs’ work in the area. There’s not a single place in the USA with as much going for it as NWA, and it should absolutely have its rightful place near the top of the sport of soccer.”

“There was so much interest from many of us who had participated in other NPSL clubs, that we knew it made sense to keep working to develop the sport through this tremendous avenue the league offers,” Broyles concluded. “This league has a bright future and OFC and NW Arkansas belong in that same growing movement.”
