The Courage defeated the Seattle Reign to book their ticket to the championship game, while the Red Stars beat the Portland Timbers.
The NWSL Player Association announced the year-end awards. Bethany Balcer was named as Rookie of the Year. The Red Star’s Sam Kerr was named Player of the Year.
