22 Amateur Players Called Up for Week 13 of the NWSL
Exciting news for players who dream of being a professional soccer players – NWSL announce 22 amateur players are called up for Week 13 of the 2016 season.
Sky Blue FC and Western New York Flash are the only teams not to call-up an amateur player.
NWSL Soccer News: The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) announced that 22 Amateur Players have been called up by clubs to be available for selection in Week 13 of the 2016 NWSL season.
Sky Blue FC and Western New York Flash decided not to call-up any amateur players.

If a national team player is being called up for national team duty, a team may bring in a U.S. Amateur Player to count toward the 20-Player Roster. The team is not to provide any compensation to the Amateur Player, but may cover necessary expenses as approved by the League.
Each Team’s Amateur List will initially be allowed 10 amateur Players
The Players listed on the Amateur List may remain there through the end of the 2016 Season.
The player must be registered as an Amateur Player with U.S. Soccer. A player registered as a professional may not regain amateur status until 30 days have elapsed since her last game competed in as a professional.On Saturday, Shea Groom and FC Kansas City take on Estefania Banini and the Washington Spirit as the champions continue a pivotal stretch in their title defense at 7 p.m. ET at Swope Soccer Village.
Kaylyn Kyle and the Orlando Pride have the chance to leapfrog Danielle Colaprico and the Chicago Red Stars in the standings when the teams meet at Camping World Stadium for the first time Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET at Camping World Stadium.
Kat Williamson and Portland Thorns FC look to regroup after suffering their first loss of the season when they face the snake-bitten Houston Dash at 8:30 p.m. ET at BBVA Compass Stadium. Abby Erceg and the Western New York Flash meet Nahomi Kawasumi and Seattle Reign FC for the second consecutive week at 10 p.m. ET at Memorial Stadium.
Wrapping up the weekend, Taylor Lytle and Sky Blue FC head to Boston to face Mollie Pathman and the Breakers for this northeast battle on Sunday at 5 p.m. ET at Jordan Field.
