Orlando Pride travel to Memorial Stadium to take on Seattle Reign FC as Week 14 of the NWSL prepares to kick off on Saturday. Portland Thorns and Boston Breakers have a bye this week as Washington Spirit take on Sky Blue FC and WNY Flash host FC Kansas City at Rhinos Stadium.
NWSL Soccer News: Week 14 of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) kicks off this weekend with all four matches taking place on Saturday. Portland Thorns FC and the Boston Breakers will have a bye as things heat up at the top of the table.Washington Spirit travel to Yurcak Field on Saturday to take on a streaking Sky Blue FC at 7:00 p.m. ET. Washington are coming off a win over FC Kansas City led by Estefania Banini who was recently awarded NWSL Player of the Week. Sky Blue look to extend its two-game winning streak as the New Jersey club jumped to the fifth spot in Week 13.

Western New York Flash host FC Kansas City at Rhinos Stadium with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m. ET. WNY’s Lynn Williams leads the league with most goals (7), while teammate Jessica McDonald (6) follows in second. McDonald is also tied for first in assists along with Tobin Heath of Portland Thorns FC.
Shea Groom of Kansas City remains in third with five goals on the season as goalkeeper Nicole Barnhart continues to lead the league in most saves.

Chicago Red Stars host the Houston Dash at Toyota Park with kickoff at 8:00 p.m. ET. Chicago sits in fourth place in the NWSL after ending a three-game losing streak last week versus Orlando. Houston defeated Chicago 3-1 at home in the 2016 season opener as the Dash travel for a stellar game in Chicago.
