Petro Home Services Announced as Sponsor of the LIJSL’s Long Island Cup
New York Youth Soccer News: Petro returns as a sponsor of the LIJSL
The Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL), the largest league in the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA), has announced an agreement with Petro Home Services for them to join the league’s team of corporate partners.
The multi-year agreement recognizes Petro Home Services as an LIJSL Corporate Partner and Sponsor of league events and activities. As part of the terms of the agreement, Petro Home Services will now become the presenting sponsor of the League’s Annual Long Island Cup. The spring competition, which has become the largest single-elimination youth soccer tournament in the world, features more than 22,000 competitors (boys and girls, ages 9-19).
“We are very pleased to have Petro Home Services return as a Corporate Partner and League Sponsor. It is also very exciting to welcome them as the new presenting sponsor of our Long Island Cup competition, and we are looking forward to building a long and dynamic business partnership with them,” commented LIJSL President Anthony Maresco.
“Having enjoyed the amazing experience of coaching one of the League’s clubs, that actually got to the finals, I personally know just how exciting this tournament is for everyone involved and how it benefits our local community,” explained Steve Goldman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Petro Home Services. “That’s why Petro is proud to be a corporate partner and sponsor of the Long Island Junior Soccer League and Long Island Cup. As an organization that encourages local youth to be active, fit, healthy and foster team spirit, we are delighted to support LIJSL teams and their achievements both on and off the soccer pitch.”
Petro Home Services will have a booth during the 36th Annual LIJSL Convention this weekend at the Huntington Hilton. The convention starts tonight with the Annual Awards Dinner and continues tomorrow, concluding on Sunday.
