Philip Boscacci Named to UPSL All-Star Roster
Santa Clarita Storm’s top goal scorer Philip Boscacci is named to the UPSL All-Star roster for the inaugural All-Star Game that is set to be played on Saturday. Boscacci tallied 14 goals in 11 matches last season as the Denmark native continues to impress following another stellar year in the UPSL.
Soccer News: Philip Boscacci, Santa Clarita Storm’s top goal scorer will join Daylon Schiffel in Yuma, Arizona, this weekend. Boscacci has been added to the UPSL All-Star roster in Saturday’s first annual All-Star Game.
Boscacci, who is in his third year with the Storm, has become a top goal scorer with 14 goals in 11 games last season — and that was preceded in the 2014-2015 season where Boscacci played in 14 games and scored 10 goals. Boscacci was born in Denmark and is a natural striker that has an excellent vision of the game. This forward seems to visualize the play just a head of it happening and is able to place himself in a position that sets himself up for scoring opportunities.
There will be two All-Star teams. Therefore, sets up a double header for Saturday at Desert Sun Stadium. We would like to Congratulate Schiffel and Boscacci whose talents are not only recognized by the Storm but by the league as well. The game will be held on Saturday June 11th, 2016 at Desert Sun Stadium in Yuma, Arizona. UPSL All-Stars vs Phoenix Monsoon kick off 5:30pm. UPSL All-Stars vs Frontera United kick off 7:30pm.
