U.S. Men’s National Team and LA Galaxy forward Gyasi Zardes comes to San Diego, CA to train youth soccer players at the Premier Soccer Academy (PSA) Advanced Soccer Camp.
Soccer News: Premier Soccer Academy (PSA) is a complete soccer academy in San Diego, California that develops young and upcoming soccer players to their highest potential on and off the field. PSA accomplishes this by providing advanced technical skills, coaching and training with an emphasis on proper strength & conditioning, excellent leadership/sportsmanship modeling, in depth nutritional education, motivational coaching and general life skills.
PSA is known for it’s summer training camps and this year has expanded to host a winter camp in December. Even more exciting, the camp is offering players a chance to meet and train with U.S. Men’s National Team and LA Galaxy forward Gyasi Zardes.
Zardes is a highly talented goal scoring professional soccer player who is proud to be a homegrown product of California. A force to be reckoned with, Zardes is a superb athlete with an outstanding blend of speed, agility and focus. He attended California State University, Bakersfield and finished as one of the top goal scorers in the NCAA.
Zardes played for the Galaxy Academy U-18’s during the 2008-09 and 2009-10 Development Academy seasons as well as with the Galaxy U-20s in the 2009 USL Super-20 campaign. After declaring himself a red shirt freshman at CSU Bakersfield, Zardes led the Galaxy U-20 team to the national championship in 2010. The LA Galaxy signed Zardes as a Homegrown player on December 20, 2012.
Zardes received his first ever international call up to represent the USA on January 28, 2015, when he came on as a substitute for Clint Dempsey in the 68th minute against Chile.
