Sockers Welcome Turlock Express to Valley View Casino Center
Turlock Express are traveling to San Diego to take on the Sockers in an MASL matchup at the Valley View Casino Center. Kraig Chiles led the Sockers past the Tacoma Stars last Friday as the captain seeks to break all-time scoring leader Branko Segota’s record of 298 goals.

Soccer News: The San Diego Sockers prepare to host Turlock Express at the Valley View Casino Center on Friday with kickoff set for 7:35 p.m. PT.
The Sockers (5-2) sit atop the Pacific Division, while Turlock (2-4) claim the fourth spot. Turlock is led by Anibal Echeverria who has recorded nine goals and four assists in the club’s first six games of the season. The visiting side is coming off a 7-5 road loss versus the Ontario Fury.
San Diego’s Matt Clare currently sits second in the MASL with 10 assists, in addition to his three goals on the season. Newcomer Max Touloute has a total of eight goals and three assists this campaign.
Captain Kraig Chiles is gearing up for a possible historic night as he approaches the all-time scoring record for the Sockers. Chiles is three goals from breaking Branko Segota’s record of 298 goals – he needs a brace to tie.
The Sockers recorded their second straight win last Friday over the Tacoma Stars at the Valley View Casino Center. Chiles notched four goals, while Scott Martin tallied two assists on the night.
