Captain Kraig Chiles Goes for Sockers Scoring Record
The San Diego Sockers are preparing to take on the Tacoma Stars as the two teams meet in a showdown for first place in the Pacific Division. Captain Kraig Chiles is currently tied for the All-Time Sockers Scoring record as San Diego faces a club in which he scored four goals during their last meeting.

MASL Soccer News: Thousands of eyes will be watching as the San Diego Sockers travel to face the Tacoma Stars on Sunday afternoon. Kickoff is set for 3:05pm p.m. PT at the ShoWare Center.
The Stars will be looking for revenge after the Sockers won 5-3 at the Valley View Casino Center two weeks ago. Sockers star forward Kraig Chiles netted four goals as he led the home team to victory.
Chiles looks to make Sockers history as his 298 career goals is tied with Sockers legend Branko Segota for most All-Time Goals. Odds are that Chiles will break the Sockers’ goal scoring record should he continue his average of 2+ goals per match.
The Sockers (6-2) are coming off a 9-3 victory over Turlock Express, while Tacoma (5-3) recorded a 9-8 comeback win over Ontario Fury.
San Diego Sockers boast a Top 5 defense, elite goalkeeper Chris Toth and one of the most potent attacks in the league. Toth leads the MASL in Save Percentage (.807) and remains second in Goals Against Average (3.88).
