Cal South Wants Memories of Soccer Championships To Last A Lifetime
Winning a state or national tournament is a big accomplishment, especially when you think of how many competitive youth soccer teams compete. While the moments on the field and the sense of accomplishment may feel as if like they will last forever, time makes all memories fade. Cal South wants their players who work so hard earning victories on the field to remember those moments for a lifetime. Great soccer medals can become proud reflections of childhood triumphs, especially if those medals awarded to youth champions are the same quality as those that hang around the neck of MLS and CONCACAF Champions.
Cal South, one of US Youth Soccer’s leading state soccer associations, wants its youth players who represent excellence on the field to be able to treasure the best medals to remember their accomplishments. Partnering with Sport Pins International, (SPi), official awards supplier and partner, Cal South provides the same quality medals for its top youth players as the MLS provides for its professionals.
“Medals earned in childhood reflect treasured memories,” said SPi founder Connie Bivens. “In twenty years, our Cal South medals can still shine bright and be passed down through generations.” SPi has produced medals for U.S. Soccer, CONCACAF, MLS, United States Adult Soccer Association, US Youth Soccer, AYSO as well as many top soccer tournaments.
The Sports Authority State Cup, Cal South National Cup, Cal South Pro+ Invitational, Cal South Recreational All-Star Tournament of Champions and Cal South Commissioners Cups champions and finalists will all have medals made by SPi. With more than 200,000 members, Cal South is a significant business partner for SPI.
Derek Barraza, Cal South Chairman and Board President said, “SPi creates medals that hang around the neck of professional soccer players like our Cal South Alum Landon Donovan. We want the very best for our youth players and SPi has a great tradition of providing excellence.”
SPi Director of Sales, Jeff Bivens said, “We have proudly served Cal South and its leagues and highly acclaimed clubs for over thirty years and we are excited to expand this relationship. We look forward to helping all Cal South affiliate member leagues and clubs, sanctioned tournaments, and teams in any way we can.”
