Soccer news from the San Diego Sockers press release:
The San Diego Sockers are proud to announce that Kaiser Permanente is the new Presenting Partner for the 2017-18 Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) season. Kaiser Permanente joins the largest list of corporate partners the Club has had in the past nine years.
As part of San Diego Sockers’ renewed commitment, they are providing their partners, supporters and the community with a culture of shared values, goals and practices that lead to success on and off the field. As SD Sockers seek their 15thchampionship, building solid relationships with each of those groups is the top priority.
Sockers Manager of Corporate Partnerships Shane Brown stated, “We are pleased to have Kaiser Permanente join our corporate partnership family.”
“The synergy between the two organizations has been excellent and we are looking forward to building a tremendous relationship with one of the top medical providers in the country,” said Brown. “We believe that they recognized our commitment to our partners and the value of partnering with us.”
“Our partnership with the San Diego Sockers is a natural fit,” said Rodger Dougherty, Senior Director of Public Affairs for Kaiser Permanente San Diego.
“Both our organizations are committed to a healthy, active San Diego community,” he added.
“We look forward to a high-energy season, which inspires us all to thrive!”
This season, the Club is offering partners a great way to connect with the community through the new “Tickets For Kids” program. The program allows businesses to send 75 underserved youths from a local non-profit to sit in the new Community Charity Corner section.
The unique concept is that the partners can join the kids in the section with the five tickets they receive with the package to see how they are making a difference. Also included are one PA announcement and banner placement inside the arena.
The Sockers thank Kaiser Permanente and all of our corporate partners for their support. For a complete list of partners, please visit www.SDSockers.com/official-team-partners.
