Super Y League Announce Mid South Division
To meet the growth of soccer in America, the Super Y League is growing Here are the details of its new Mid South Division that begins play in the 2017 season.
Member clubs have the opportunity to compete at the North American Super Y League Finals, along with players having a chance to participate in the SYL Regional Scouting Series Events and SYL National Player Pool.
Youth Soccer News: The Super Y League has announced the development of a new Mid South Division, which will encompass Northern Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Western Arkansas and Missouri.
The division will kick off in 2017, with participating clubs having the opportunity to compete at the North American Super Y League Finals. Member clubs joining the Mid South Division will be announced starting this week by SYL Soccer.“The creation of the Mid South Division signals the exciting and confident approach the Super Y League is taking towards bringing the league to high-quality clubs across the country,” USL Director of Business Development Joel Nash said. “The region, which includes Northern Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas, is rich with talent, and clubs are taking advantage of a player-development opportunity that provides competitive play during the summer months.”
The Mid South will be the seventh division in the Super Y League, as it joins New England, North Atlantic, Mid Atlantic, South Atlantic, Southeast and Midwest.
SYL players who compete in the new division will have a chance to participate in the annual SYL Regional Scouting Series Events and be eligible for selection into the SYL National Player Pool, with an opportunity of being selected to take part in the USL Experience.
The USL Experience is an elite multi-day event that includes a professional training format and delivers an exclusive look at the professional level. The USL Experience will be hosted by San Antonio FC in April of 2017.
