Soccer News: TeamSnap continues to make strides as the sports management company hits 1 million teams registered. The 7-year-old company consists of 10 million customers with new team features and advances in the club and league department now available.
TeamSnap was founded in May of 2009 with a small team management app that had been in beta for the years prior. The following June the company secured its first round of investor funding and officially settled on its TeamSnap brand in 2011. During this time TeamSnap shifted its focus from youth sports management to sleep management.
In December 2012, the growth of TeamSnap began to flourish as 100,000 teams adopted the company for their sports management needs.
A little over two years later in March of 2015, TeamSnap Live launched giving mobile users the ability to communicate and share live game scores in real time.
Five months later Team Snap’s website builder for Clubs & Leagues hit the market, which includes a drag-and-drop interface that makes it easy to design a modern website for any club, league or organization.
Over the last year, TeamSnap has continued to hit strides and receive acknowledgment along the way with Outside Magazine ranking TeamSnap No. 16 on their 100 Best Places to Work list last November.
TeamSnap followed up in 2016 by hitting two benchmarks that includes serving 10 million customers and accumulating 1 million registered teams. The innovative management company continues to grow the game beyond the soccer field with the availability of an easy-to-use management program.
