6-Time Japanese National Beach Soccer Champions Elevate Competition
Tokyo, Japan based PRO Beach Soccer Club Tokyo Lequios will bring their talented squad to participate in Oceanside, California and challenge for the title at The Beach Soccer USA Cup this coming May 15-16-17, 2015.
Tokyo Lequios will arrive to Oceanside determined to put on a show and the team is more than capable of doing just that. Tokyo Lequios enters The Beach Soccer USA Cup with a roster that includes 5 players from the Japanese National Team that qualified this past month to the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup to be held in Spinho, Portugal in July. Some of Tokyo Lequios top players are: Ginoza Tomoya, Ozu Moreira (Asian Qualifiers MVP), Oda Hirofumi, Tabata Teruki and Goto Takasuke (Asian Qualifiers Top Scorer).
Tokyo Lequios won the Japanese National Beach Soccer League this past September for the 6th time in their history, (watch highlights here), they have a long winning tradition in the Japanese Professional circuit and the opportunity to participate at The Beach Soccer USA Cup provides a chance to test their skills against the other top teams competing in the event.
Tokyo Lequios is managed by Ko Ishikawa and his passion for the development of top level Beach Soccer in Japan is noticeable with the success of the Japanese National Team internationally.

The Champions of this year’s The Beach Soccer USA Cup will be awarded $10,000 USD, 2nd place team will be awarded $5,000 USD, 3rd place team will be awarded $2,500 USD, 4th place team will receive $1,300 USD and an additional $1,200 USD will be awarded evenly between the PRO event’s MVP, Golden Gloves (Best Goal Keeper) & Golden Toe (Top Scorer).
In 2015, this world-class beach soccer tournament will host teams from within the USA was well as Spain, Italy, Portugal, Japan, Colombia, Switzerland, Canada and Mexico. In past years, teams have also come from as far away as Senegal to compete. The Beach Soccer USA Cup has the following teams competing this year:

The soccer event has an economic impact on the city of Oceanside in excess of $3 million during the 3 day event, with daily attendance exceeding 35,000 daily visitors. PRO games are played in our Beach Soccer Stadiums which have a capacity of 1,500 attendees and the PRO games are streamed live via www.BeachSoccerTV.com.
