Hailie Mace Is Named Pac-12 Offensive Soccer Player of Week
UCLA has totaled five Pac-12 weekly honors this season – two by Mace, and one each by Teagan Micah, Ashley Sanchez, and Kaiya McCullough.
After a three-goal, one assist weekend UCLA junior forward Hailie Mace was selected the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Mace, from Ventura, Ca., led UCLA in another pair of victories, as the Bruins remained undefeated in 2017 at 10-0-1. She scored a first-half goal in the Bruins’ 2-0 win over Oregon on Thursday and scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner, in the first six minutes of play in the 4-1 win over Oregon State.
Mace also added an assist on UCLA’s third goal of the half. She now leads the team with nine goals (tied for first in the Pac-12) and 21 points, all career-highs.
