Virginia and Georgetown Take The First And Second Spot
After winning the ACC Tournament, Virginia jumps up to first place. Georgetown’s win in the Big East was enough to give them the second-place spot.
United Soccer Coaches released their final NCAA Division 1 rankings for men’s soccer.
Virginia, Georgetown, and Clemson round out the top three.
Virginia retook the number spot after winning the ACC Tournament title. The Cavaliers enter the NCAA Tournament with a 17-1-1 record. Georgetown moved up to the second-place spot after winning the Big East Tournament championship. And Clemson dropped to third after losing to Virginia in the ACC title game.

The NCAA released the Men’s Division I Championship bracket featuring a field of 48 teams. Tournament play will get underway on Thursday, Nov. 21 with 16 first-round matches and will conclude with the NCAA College Cup on Dec. 13 and 15 in Cary, N.C.
