UWS Announces New Ticketing Partnership
United Women’s Soccer has named Passage as its Official Ticketing Provider for the 2019 UWS season. Passage will provide women’s soccer fans the ability to purchase and sell game tickets from their mobile phone.
UWS is a national women’s soccer league sanctioned by U.S. Soccer. The second division league runs from May until the National Championship match in July.
Women’s Soccer News: United Women’s Soccer (UWS) has announced a partnership with Passage as the league’s Official Ticketing Provider.
In accordance with the league’s professional standards, the partnership will offer UWS teams a service for tracking ticket sales, attendance, merchandise and concessions. In addition, soccer fans will have the convenience of purchasing game tickets online, in advance or at the gate from their mobile device.
“We’re very happy to be working with Passage,” said Joe Ferrara Jr., UWS League Commissioner. “This simplifies the entire box office setup for our teams so that they can focus on recruiting and developing great players, and providing fans with the best possible game day experience. We look forward to growing together.”
Passage will also launch a custom online portal called UWS Tickets, available to all United Women’s Soccer (UWS) teams. Each club will be able to personalize its UWS Tickets portal, which will manage ticket sales, merchandise and concessions, both online and at the door on match day. Fans can purchase match day tickets and teams can sign up to start selling tickets at zero cost by visiting here.
Passage has developed a feature strictly for soccer teams, branded SoccerStub, which has become the preferred system for the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) and the National League of Professional Futsal (NLPF).
“We’re thrilled to be working with the UWS,” said Alex Linebrink, CEO of Passage. “Our goal is to help the entire league evolve to the next level by eliminating some of the headaches that come with managing a growing soccer club, like tracking sales, managing inventory, and reaching more fans.”
