Storm FC Host Friendly Versus Oxnard City Football Club
Storm FC prepare for the 2016 UPSL season with a friendly set against Oxnard City Football Club this Thursday. The UPSL season kicks off in July as the Storm look to continue its run with Daylon Schiffel and Philip Boscacci coming off the UPSL All-Star weekend in Yuma, Arizona.
Soccer News: Santa Clarita Storm announce its first scheduled friendly as they prepare for the first UPSL league game in July. The friendly is against local club Oxnard City Football Club. Oxnard will be led by Coach Osvaldo Valladolid and are ready to play the storm as they prepare for their own tournament coming up this summer.
The game will be played at Central Park in Santa Clarita this coming Thursday, June 23. It will be played on field 5 under the lights with the kickoff starting at 8 pm.
The Storm will be using this game as a tune up for the upcoming UPSL season and as a way to test which of its players are fit and ready to start the season on a high. This will also be a good opportunity for players who are on the fence to get some minutes and prove themselves in front of Coach Oscar Moreno and earn that Storm jersey.
Come on out and support the Storm this Thursday as they take on Oxnard City Football Club. It promises to be a good game and show some good local talent. You don’t want to miss it!
