National Premier Leagues Finals Kick Off July 14 in Aurora, Colorado
While it may not be holiday time yet, the planning for next summer’s soccer tournaments are underway. It takes a great deal of time to prepare for national youth soccer tournaments and US Club has just announced their NPL schedule.
Soccer News: US Club Soccer announced it will host the 2016 National Premier Leagues (NPL) Finals, July 14-18, at Aurora Sports Park in Aurora, Colorado.
US Club Soccer shifts its NPL Finals location every year — the tournament was hosted in Chicago in 2012, followed by Aurora in 2013, Greensboro, N.C. in 2014 and Westfield, Ind. in 2015.
“The NPL Finals has quickly become one of the most prestigious events in the country,” said Leo Garcia, NPL General Manager. “We look forward to returning to Aurora Sports Park and crowning the next set of NPL champions.”
The 2016 NPL Finals is the targeted, annual destination for all National Premier Leagues clubs, as year-long, league-based competition culminates in the five-day national title event. It features U-13 through U-18 boys and girls teams from all around the country.
This will be the fifth national championship in the NPL’s young history. Information about the dates and locations of National Cup XV Regionals and Finals – US Club Soccer’s cup-based national championship series – will be announced soon.
New to 2016 will be a special Players First presence, representing the new initiative US Club Soccer embarked on this summer to help every youth athlete reach his or her full potential on and off the field.
Located 25 minutes east of Denver, Aurora Sports Park is a 220-acre site that hosts major local, state and national competitions and offers 12 baseball/softball fields and 23 soccer/multi-use fields.
The Southern California National Premier League, which includes U-13 through U-17 boys, is comprised of eight clubs: Albion SC, Carlsbad Elite, DMS11, Fullerton Rangers, Heat FC, Los Angeles Premier FC,
Las Vegas Soccer Academy, and Santa Barbara SC.
