US Club Soccer Announce National Cup XVI Regionals Structure
The structure of the National Cup XVI Regionals has been released as top clubs from across the country aim to hoist the national US Club Soccer title. Winning U13 through U18/19 boys and girls clubs from Regionals and qualifying state cups will ultimately advance to the National Cup XVI Finals.
Youth Soccer News: US Club Soccer has announced the structure for the 16th edition of the National Cup XVI Regionals.
The National Cup includes numerous state cups, which begin during the spring, before progressing to the National Cup XVI Regionals – held in five separate locations. Ultimately, qualifying teams will then compete for national titles at the National Cup XVI Finals, to be held July 21-24 at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana.
Regionals are open to all US Club Soccer member teams in U12 through U18/19 boys and girls age groups. Winning U13 through U18/19 boys and girls teams from Regionals and qualifying state cups advance to the National Cup XVI Finals.
The National Cup XVI will continue to include Super Group and Premier Group brackets. During the National Cup XV, nearly 900 teams competed in Regionals and Finals tournaments.

National Cup XVI Finals
The dates and location of the National Cup XVI Finals were announced a few weeks prior to this release. The 2017 NPL Finals – the league-based national championship event for all National Premier Leagues teams – will be held a week before the National Cup XVI Finals. Then, participating National Cup XVI Finals clubs will compete at Grand Park, as Indiana hosts the national championships for the second time in three years.
