US Club Soccer Brings in Technology Partnership with SCOUTINGZONETo Help College Recruiting
US Club Soccer has announced its latest partnership with SCOUTINGZONE, which will expand the resources for college scouts at events throughout the year. Through SCOUTINGZONE, scouts are given immediate, real-time access to player profiles across the country.
Youth Soccer News: US Club Soccer looks to develop youth soccer players and provide for their needs — on and off the field. With this in mind, they have now partnered with one of the fastest growing online recruiting tools for elite soccer players — SCOUTINGZONE, launched by two talented women who saw the need to harness technology to suit college coaches and make players’ lives easier.
The goal is simple — to increase college recruiting opportunities for US Club soccer players.
As the Official Scouting Partner of US Club Soccer, SCOUTINGZONE will utilize its digital resources and in-person contacts to bring more college coaches and scouts to major US Club Soccer events, as well as offer complimentary player profiles to US Club Soccer members at U14 and older age groups during these events. Instructions will be available to teams before the tournaments, which include National Cup Regionals and Finals, NPL Finals and NPL Showcase.
SCOUTINGZONE provides a comprehensive, virtual database of player profiles, where both soccer scouts and athletes maximize their opportunities to find the perfect game.
While the traditional format of profiles offered limited information, SCOUTINGZONE provides detailed personal, academic and athletic information about players via mobile app.
The easy to use, online technology makes it far simpler and more effective for players to be located at events and on specific fields, be identified and reached – it is a real win for all parties involved.
“The availability of detailed player profiles laid out in an efficient, user-friendly app makes SCOUTINGZONE a major step forward in recruiting for players,” said Tara Parker, who co-founded the app with Brooke Oxberry.
“We are very pleased to partner with US Club Soccer, one of the top soccer organizations in the country, to make this service available to their players and all college coaches who attend their events.”
NPL General Manager Leo Garcia was on-site at the recent 2017 Jefferson Cup and experienced first-hand how valuable SCOUTINGZONE’s platform was for college coaches and participating players and their families.
“We know our members – not just in the NPL – are looking for large-scale exposure to college coaches,” Garcia said. “This partnership will help bring our events to the next level. Club coaches, college coaches, parents and players will all enjoy the resources SCOUTINGZONE brings to US Club Soccer.”
“US Club Soccer is a leader in creating a competitive environment for players to showcase their abilities. Bringing in SCOUTINGZONE will provide more opportunity for players to be identified, evaluated, and connect with college scouts from across the country,” said Tara who is also the Head Soccer coach at Beach Futbol Club.
