Players Called to US Youth Soccer ODP Thanksgiving Interregional
Rosters for the annual US Youth Soccer ODP Girls Thanksgiving Interregional have been announced as top players in America head to Florida to compete in front of college and U.S. Soccer scouts. Players will participate in scheduled training sessions as well as compete in matches versus other regional teams.
Youth Soccer News: US Youth Soccer has announced the rosters for its annual US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (US Youth Soccer ODP) Girls Thanksgiving Interregional, held November 18-25 at Spanish River Athletic Park and Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida.
Rosters: 1999 | 2000 | 2001 | 2002 | 2003
The event will welcome more than 350 of the country’s top players in the 1999-2003 age groups, selected from US Youth Soccer State Association and Regional level evaluations. Each age group will attend scheduled training sessions and also play in matches against each of the other regional teams. Additionally, each squad in the 2000 age group will play against the U.S. U14 Girls National Team.
The US Youth Soccer ODP Girls Thanksgiving Interregional hosts more than 100 college recruits, as well as several U.S. Soccer scouts. The talent on display allows coaches and scouts to evaluate players in a similar setting to what they will face at the next level.
The US Youth Soccer ODP Girls Thanksgiving Interregional has featured many players who have gone on to represent the United States at the international level. Of the 40 individuals who have been called in to the U.S. Women’s National Team this year, 33 participated in the Thanksgiving Interregional during their youth careers.
