US Youth Soccer Announces Partnership with Chipotle
Chipotle Mexican Grill and US Youth Soccer have partnered in order to expand the exposure of the soccer organization’s competitions across the United States.
Through its programming, resources and leadership, US Youth Soccer advances the game for its 55 Member State Associations, 10,000 clubs and leagues. US Youth Soccer provides a development path for youth players, offering programs that provide a fun, safe and healthy environment at every level of the game.
Youth Soccer News: US Youth Soccer has announced that Chipotle Mexican Grill will serve as the soccer organization’s official restaurant partner.
The joint partnership will consist of US Youth Soccer featuring Chipotle onsite at regional and national US Youth Soccer competitions and events. Chipotle will also be presented through various assets, including onsite activations and digital channels. As part of the collaboration, Chipotle will also become the exclusive presenting sponsor of the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup.
“To say that we are excited to be partnering with Chipotle, an industry leader in the restaurant space, is an understatement,” said Christopher Moore, US Youth Soccer CEO. “Chipotle is a brand driven by purpose and, together, we share a common goal of inspiring more kids to partake in physical activity and sports, including youth soccer.”
Chipotle has also designated US Youth Soccer as its official youth soccer partner. Through the sponsorship, Chipotle will engage customers nationally through digital, social and traditional media, in-restaurant, player appearances and fundraisers that support local soccer clubs, teams and players.
Chipotle has supported soccer players in the past by giving out free burritos to youth customers that wear their jerseys to its restaurants. The new partnership with US Youth Soccer is sure to see similar promotions in the future for youth players across the country.
“Chipotle’s mission of cultivating a better world begins with encouraging people of all ages to create healthy habits,” said Chris Brandt, Chief Marketing Officer of Chipotle. “We are proud to support US Youth Soccer and to help young athletes refuel with real food.”
The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup is a tournament that offers soccer clubs from across the country an opportunity to compete for a national title while emphasizing competition, camaraderie and community. As part of the agreement, every player that competes in the regional and national Presidents Cup tournaments will be outfitted with an event logo that displays the Chipotle brand.
