USMNT Take On Serbia In First Match of 2017
The USMNT will take on Serbia in America’s Finest City this Sunday in the first match of 2017 by our men’s side. The team will then face off against Jamaica next week in its first ever visit to Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Soccer News: U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Bruce Arena has named the final 23-player roster for its friendly match versus Serbia on January 29th at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. Kickoff for the USA’s first game of 2017 is set for 1 p.m. PT, and will broadcast live on ESPN2 and UniMas.
Five days after the matchup, the MNT will travel for the first time to Chattanooga, Tennessee, on February 3rd to host regional rival Jamaica. Kickoff in front of an expected capacity crowd of 20,000 at Finley Stadium is set for 7 p.m. ET. The match will broadcast live on FS1 and UniMas.A total of 31 players traveled to Carson beginning on January 10th for the first camp of the year at the National Training Center.
“I have been extremely pleased with the effort and progress we have seen throughout the January Camp,” Arena said. “The entire pool of players has performed well and has made our roster decisions very difficult. We are excited to take the next step and look forward to the game against Serbia in San Diego.”
