US Youth Soccer Regional Championships Winners
The US Youth Soccer Regional Championships conclude as teams earned berths into the prestigious US Youth Soccer National League for the 2017-18 season.
The National League provides an avenue for teams to play in meaningful matches against top competition from across the country for continued development and opportunities for exposure at the collegiate, professional and National Team levels.
Youth Soccer News: The US Youth Soccer Regional Championships wrapped up on July 4th as 48 Regional winners or finalists in the U13 through U17 Boys and Girls Divisions earned automatic qualification into the US Youth Soccer National League for the 2017-18 season.
The National League is an extension of the highly successful US Youth Soccer Regional Leagues.
There are three means to earning automatic qualification into the National League:
- 48 Regional Championship winners/finalists (listed below).
- 64 returning National League division top-four finishers.
- 124 Regional League qualifiers.
The National League provides an opportunity for clubs to play in meaningful games against top competition from across the nation.

*Slot becomes open as Regional Championship winner/finalist has already qualified for next season’s National League via its finish in the 2016-17 National League Season.
Teams that earn their spot in the National League have a proven track record of success in US Youth Soccer regional and national competitions. They are among the country’s best as every club has earned its place in the league based on previous and continued individual success, regardless of location or club affiliation.
National League alumni who have appeared for the U.S. Men’s National Team include Jordan Morris and Walker Zimmerman, while Morgan Brian, Samantha Mewis and Emily Sonnett have appeared for the U.S. Women’s National Team.
In addition to recruiting opportunities, the top finishers from each National League division will earn a ticket to the US Youth Soccer National Championships. The event is the oldest and most prestigious youth soccer national championship competition in the country. Through the first nine years of play, National League teams have gone on to claim 47 of a possible 68 National Championship titles.
The 2017 National Championships will be held July 25-30 at the Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco, Texas.
