Who’s won ECNL?
Youth Soccer News: ECNL — Elite Clubs National League — is the organization that has grown girls’ youth soccer to where it is today. This competitive youth soccer league for Amazing Young Women kicked off in 2009 and raised the level of play across America.
In the beginning, ECNL’s first season from August 2009 to July 2010 included only 40 of the top girls’ soccer clubs in the USA — just 2,000 players participated in ECNL in the U15, U16, and U17 age groups. In ECNL’s eighth season — 2016-17 — the league had expanded to 84 member clubs.
Long time President Christian Lavers has championed the ECNL since inception. Always innovative and forward-thinking, the ECNL has lead the industry with first rate national competition and groundbreaking social media campaigns.
ECNL’s inspirational Amazing Young Women and the #UNSHAKABLE campaign celebrates the drive, passion, independence, and strength of the ECNL athlete.
