Tijuana Xolos U17 Take on Chivas in LIGA MX Semifinals
The Tijuana Xolos U17 side is ready to face off against Guadalajara Chivas on Thursday in the first leg of the 2016 Apertura semifinals. Club Tijuana is coming off a 4-3 aggregate win over Tigres UANL, while Guadalajara edged Pachuca in the previous round.
Soccer News: Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles U17 team traveled to Guadalajara on Wednesday as they prepare to take on CD Guadalajara in the first leg of the LIGA MX 2016 Apertura semifinals.
The game is set to be played at the Verde Valle facilities at 7:30 a.m. PT on Thursday.
Coach Gilberto Mora’s team will try and record away goals before returning to Tijuana for the second leg on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. PT.
Bolstering the best offense in the league, the Xolos will put their skills to the test against one of the best defenses of the postseason.
The Xoloitzcuintles advanced to the semifinals after beating Tigres UANL on a 4-3 aggregate. Chivas edged Pachuca 5-4 in the quarterfinals.
